During his Formula 1 podium debut, Isack Hadjar from France secured the sixth podium for Italy’s other team in F1’s 40-year history, showcasing a remarkable achievement for the Faenza-based squad. The team, formerly known as Minardi, has had a humble career compared to Ferrari, the other Italian team in F1. Despite starting weakly in 1985, with only three finishes and an 8th place as the best result, the team persisted. Since becoming Toro Rosso in 2006 after being bought by Red Bull, the team has evolved, eventually achieving its first F1 race win at the 2008 Italian GP with Sebastian Vettel. In 2019, as Toro Rosso, now known as AlphaTauri, Daniil Kvyat’s strategic brilliance at the German GP led them back to the podium, solidifying their place in F1 history.
